About Midwest Artist Search - JUNIOR
Midwest Artist Search - JUNIOR is a dynamic, regional vocal competition for young singers ages 9-17 that professionally screens submissions for a four week, singing contest. This high energy production features industry coaching and development of contestants, selection of finalists, culminating in one of the most comprehensive prize packages of any regional music competition.
Contestants are selected from all submissions; each of these contestants will compete in a live competition in groups. Each group will yield 7 finalists totaling 21. Each of 21 finalists will have a photo, bio, posted on the Midwest Artist Search website. These 20 finalists will participate in Showdown: Elimination Round. Ten winners will be selected from this group to record a song and appear on the 2010 Midwest Artist Search - JUNIOR Sampler CD.
